To keep your Avid brakes functioning properly, check your pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Organic compound pads are softer for quieter braking and increased modulation, while metallic pads dissipate heat better and last a bit longer. Center Lock offers a secure hold and perfect fit with fully compatible rotors that makes it simple to remove and install a rotor. Most road and gravel disc brake wheelsets feature the Center Lock spline system.
